Job Description
Salary: up to £35,000 p.a. based on experience. Location Stagecoach Yorkshire Head Office, Unit 4 Eldon Arcade, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 2JP. Responsibilities Produce optimised timetables and driver duties using AVL data and the Optibus scheduling system.
Ensure timetables meet contractual requirements and legal and agreed operational parameters. Maintain or improve current operational efficiencies. Liaise directly with local depot staff and trade unions.
Collaborate on other commercial function areas such as ticket machines, data analysis/reporting and franchise bidding. Qualifications Computer literate and adaptable to new systems. Flexible approach to work with the ability to keep accurate records under tight deadlines.
Commitment to public transport and ability to work effectively within a small team. Experience with Optibus is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided. Benefits 25 days annual holiday.
