Commercial Manager Glasgow (Hybrid Working) Contract / Freelance We are currently recruiting for experienced Commercial Manager s to support a major engineering and infrastructure programme within a highly regulated environment .These positions offer the opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects while playing a key role in commercial delivery, contract management, and cost control . The Ro leAs a Commercial Manag er, you will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual performance of allocated projects or work packages. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure effective cost management, risk mitigation, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycl e.

Key Responsibilit iesManage the commercial delivery of projects and work packages from inception through to complet ionAdminister contracts, compensation events, variations, and change management proces sesPrepare and maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, and financial performance metr icsSupport procurement, subcontract management, and supplier negotiati onsIdentify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunit iesEnsure compliance with contractual obligations and governance requireme ntsWork collaboratively with project managers, planners, and technical teams to achieve project objecti vesSupport dispute avoidance and resolution activities where requi red What We're Looking ForExperience a s a Commercial Man ager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, or similar commercial roleStrong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and commercial repor tingExperience within infrastructure, engineering, defence, nuclear, energy, or complex construction sec torsWorking knowledge of NEC contracts (other forms of contract experience also benefic ial)Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management sk illsAbility to work effectively within regulated and high-security environm ents Important Require mentsMust be a UK Sole Nat ionalMust hold or be eligible to ob tain SC Security Clea rance Des irableDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related disc iplineMembership of RICS, ICES, CICES, or other relevant professiona l bodyPrevious experience on major infrastructure, defence, nuclear, or energy projects would be advanta geous.
