Commercial Lines Account Manager

Paisley Partners Inc.

North YorkFull-timeMid LevelOn-site

Job Description

Paisley Partners is looking for an experienced insurance professional to join our growing Commercial Lines team. In this role, you'll manage a sophisticated mid-market book of business with a strong focus on construction accounts, partnering closely with two Producers to deliver exceptional client service, strategic renewals, and tailored risk solutions across multiple commercial lines.

If you enjoy working with established clients, navigating complex renewals, and being viewed as a trusted advisor rather than simply processing transactions, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a mid-market commercial book of business with a primary focus on construction clients and complex renewals.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, delivering proactive, consultative service and building long-term relationships.
  • Partner with two Commercial Producers to develop renewal strategies, identify coverage gaps, and support new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and market renewal submissions, negotiate with insurers, and recommend comprehensive insurance solutions across multiple commercial lines.
  • Review client operations, exposures, claims history, and contractual requirements to ensure appropriate coverage recommendations.
  • Manage all aspects of policy administration, including endorsements, certificates, binders, policy documentation, statements of values, cancellations, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate policy issuance and documentation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client files while ensuring compliance with brokerage standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide prompt, responsive service, maintaining high service standards and delivering timely communication to clients, insurers, and business partners.
  • Identify opportunities for account rounding, cross-selling, and strengthening client relationships.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience within an insurance brokerage.
  • RIBO License in good standing (required)
  • Strong experience managing mid-market commercial accounts, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-line commercial insurance products and coverage.
  • Demonstrated expertise handling complex renewals, marketing accounts, and negotiating with insurers.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with Producers to support client retention and growth.
  • Proficiency with brokerage management systems; EPIC experience is considered an asset.
