With performance consistently on an upward trajectory, they are now looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to play a pivotal role within their finance function.This is a standout opportunity to step into a role at the heart of the business , where your insights will directly influence senior decision-making and shape commercial strategy.This is more than a reporting role - it's a chance to:Sit at the centre of commercial decision-makingWork closely with senior leadership and the Executive teamDrive improvements in MI, insight, and business visibilityLead and develop a team, building a high-performance cultureTake ownership and genuinely add value across the organisationThe OpportunityAs Commercial Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering clear, insightful financial information across sales, margin, and operational performance - helping the business understand not just what is happening, but why .You'll partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing challenge, guidance, and support to drive performance and achieve key commercial objectives.Alongside this, you'll take ownership of reporting processes while coaching and developing your team, helping to embed best practice and continuous improvement across the function.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver monthly management accounts across multiple entitiesLead and develop a small team, driving performance and accountabilityTake full ownership of month-end, ensuring robust and timely reportingDeliver meaningful variance analysis with clear commercial insightProduce weekly and monthly KPI packs for senior leadershipAnalyse sales, margin and cost performance to identify opportunitiesProvide detailed business unit and profitability analysisPartner with budget holders to challenge spend and drive efficienciesSupport investment decisions through business cases and financial modellingContribute to senior reporting, audit processes, and year-end deliveryDrive improvements in reporting, automation, and data accuracyAbout YouFully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Strong background in commercial finance and management accountingExperience managing or mentoring others, with a collaborative leadership styleAdvanced Excel skills with strong modelling and analytical capabilityHighly commercial, with the confidence to influence and challengeClear communicator who can translate numbers into actionable insightThrives in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExperience within retail, FMCG, or multi-site environments would be highly advantageous.The Bigger PictureThis role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond traditional finance and become a trusted commercial partner within a growing, ambitious business.If you're driven by impact, enjoy working closely with stakeholders, and want to play a key role in shaping business performance - this is an opportunity to accelerate your career in a genuinely exciting environment.
