Unique Hybrid Colorectal Surgery Opportunity on the Gulf Coast

This is a non‑tenure earning, full clinical position within the Department of Surgery at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine, located at Infirmary Cancer Care in Mobile, AL. The appointed candidate will also be a member of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB.

The role involves providing colorectal surgical care as part of a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, breast surgeons, and other surgical specialists within the South Alabama cancer service line. Responsibilities include surgical management of colorectal cancer patients, participation in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, and collaboration in clinical and translational research projects.

Qualifications:

• Colorectal Surgery fellowship trained.
• Completion of fellowship or current practicing physician with clinical or academic experience.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary cancer care setting is preferred.
