Utilities Analyst The Utilities Analyst will assist in resolving margin disputes resulting from exposure differences on OTC uncleared derivative trades. The incumbent will create daily reconciliation reports and be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, reporting and escalation of trade and portfolio level exposure differences in compliance with regulatory guidelines for in‑scope counterparties including EMIR, CFTC and SEC. Responsibilities Produce and analyze exposure reconciliations for in‑scope counterparties according to regulatory guidelines, including aging and reasons for differences.

Track and monitor the frequency of required reconciliations based on counterparty trade volumes in compliance with industry regulations. Partner with IT to reduce systemic risk and increase operational efficiencies in the daily process. Case management and reporting of exposure differences in TriResolve and using EUC tools.

Escalate disputes and discrepancies as per standing orders and department operating procedures. Liaise with internal stakeholders and counterparties to ensure timely resolution of exposure differences in compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in producing management reporting for KPI purposes.

Proactively advise margin teams on potential disputes through the day. Cross‑train as required on additional control functions, including CSA onboarding. Qualifications Must‑have 1–2 years of experience in a client‑facing operations or middle office role, preferably with OTC derivatives and/or reconciliation.

College or university diploma/degree. Advanced skills in MS Excel. Attention to detail.

Ability to multi‑task while adhering to deadlines. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Good understanding of the OTC margining workflow under the ISDA‑CSA protocols.

Nice‑to‑have Experience with AI agents and AI tools in a working environment. Experience maintaining Excel macros or equivalent scripts. Experience with programming languages and data query (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL).

Experience with management information reporting.Familiarity with pricing and valuation of OTC derivatives and risks associated with collateralisation. Familiarity with collateral systems (e.g., COLLINE, TriResolve, Acadia). Familiarity with ISDA CSA documents and terminologies.

Understanding of regulatory requirements for OTC derivatives reconciliations across regimes in scope for the organization and ISDA protocols for OTC derivatives uncleared margin best practices. Understanding of OTC derivative trading, lifecycle events and settlement. Understanding of risks and controls framework applied to capital markets and the OTC derivative markets.
