Job Description

This position works with forklift drivers assisting them in loading/unload product at our warehouse dock, as well as working closing with the shipping/receiving staff in the office. Their effort is to create and enhance efficiency and accuracy of the dock loading/unloading process, all the while maintaining accuracy regarding the physical count of delivery or shipment of product.

Upon receiving product, this position is responsible to verify that every pallet/box delivered into the warehouse is in acceptable order (noted if they are not) and are scanned into the computer system.

Upon shipping product, this position is responsible that the correct product is loaded as to the order being fulfilled, along with reviewing the special instruction on the order are being followed. Once all information has been verified and the loading is complete, all the paperwork is turned into the shipping/receiving office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Check inbound actual receiving against manifest
• Verify quantities, Country of Origin, Commodities, Variety, Pack Style, Size, Label, Grade
• Note any differences on paperwork and reports to receiving clerks
• Receive actual counts in system
• Continuously be aware that the dock is clear of clutter and debris
