Job Summary
MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 3rd Shift at our Savanna, Illinois manufacturing facility. You will operate CNC machines to produce components to specification while supporting quality, safety, and efficient production.
Location: Savanna, IL
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM
Pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience
Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium
Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
What You'll Do as a CNC Operator
Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments to verify specifications.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.
A record of dependable work, reliable attendance, and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous industrial manufacturing experience.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Employees in this role stand for extended periods and push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
The position involves frequent bending and stooping.
Manual dexterity is required to handle small objects.
Employees work in a manufacturing environment where noise is present.
