Job Summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 3rd Shift at our Savanna, Illinois manufacturing facility. You will operate CNC machines to produce components to specification while supporting quality, safety, and efficient production.

  • Location: Savanna, IL

  • Work Arrangement: On-site

  • Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM

  • Pay: $16.00-$19.00/hour, depending on experience

  • Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium

  • Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

What You'll Do as a CNC Operator

  • Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.

  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.

  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments to verify specifications.

  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Basic computer and math skills.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete assigned tasks.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.

  • A record of dependable work, reliable attendance, and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role requires repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Employees in this role stand for extended periods and push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • The position involves frequent bending and stooping.

  • Manual dexterity is required to handle small objects.

  • Employees work in a manufacturing environment where noise is present.
