CNC & NC Machine Setup & Operate P&R

CNC milling machines; parts washers; and deburring grinder • Refer to assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and machining blueprints to maintain tolerances. • Set controls and perform other manual data input functions as required, review operation data sheets, parts program, tape readouts and prints, and change collets and/or chucks; load and unload parts; load, unload and adjust tools as necessary • Check first piece using fixed or adjustable gauges; gauge periodically and visually inspect all parts for appearance and compliance to specifications; correct for any discrepancies. • Maintain a supply of materials to machines and remove finished work as necessary to establish a flow through the cells • Operate fork truck to facilitate own work or to move material around department as required • Maintain work area, machines and control units in a clean, neat and orderly condition and follow 5-S's principles Basic (Required) Qualifications: • Minimum two (2) years' previous work experience in CNC machine setup and operation • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Syracuse, NY will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
