Job DescriptionCNC Field Service Technician Our client is seeking a self motivated CNC Field Service Technician to support its expanding precision engineering solutions business. The successful candidate will work alongside highly skilled field service technicians, developing specialist expertise through varied customer projects, equipment installations, maintenance and fault finding. This is a field based role with the mjaority of work bewteen Limerick & Glaway - candidates in that area are highly desirable.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday only, offering a consistent working week alongside valuable exposure to different manufacturing environments. Field based role suited to candidates between or around Limerick/Galway The Role: * Diagnose and repairl faults in CNC equipment. * Install, commission, service and maintain CNC equipment. * Complete annual servicing and preventative maintenance. * Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to support customer requirements. The Person: * Experience working with CNC or PLC controlled manufacturing equipment. * Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding experience. * Ability to read system schematics and good computer literacy. * Full driving licence. * Knowledge of electronics. * Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, CNC code and Ladder Logic would be beneficial. * A qualification or recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline would be desirable. The Rewards: * £50,000 to £60,000 salary range. * Full time position with 39 hours per week (Travel time paid also) * Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate or taken as time off in lieu. * 20 days' annual leave plus public holidays. * Company vehicle, fuel card, phone and laptop. * Company pension scheme, death in service benefit and reimbursement of expenses.
