Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager (Vancouver)

Position: Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager Salary: 130-150k + 20% bonus Location: Vancouver, WA Schedule: 4 days onsite/1 day remote REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience in a leadership role as an Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Manager, SRE Manager, Platform Engineering Manager, DevOps Engineering Manager or similar with a hands-on engineering background 4+ years of understanding of infrastructure engineering practices: networking, compute, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery and connectivity. 4+ years of professional hands-on experience with Azure including governance, networking, and monitoring, Azure Landing Zones (Azure LZ's). Open to candidates with deep AWS experience if open to learning and adapting to an Azure environment. 4+ years of experience with observability and monitoring tools to reduce MTTR and improve reliability: experience understanding outages, production systems, incident management/response, understanding logging/reliability. Understanding of IAC, Terraform, Kubernetes or similar Experience with observability platforms: SolarWinds, data dog or similar JOB DESCRIPTION A client in the Pacific Northwest is looking for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Manager to join their team!

This is a direct hire/permanent position that will be 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. As an Infrastructure Cloud Engineering Manager in this role, you will oversee a team of engineers focused on SRE/Observability, Azure, IAC, Terraform, FinOps, and more. In this role we are looking for someone with a strong background in engineering and has experience with outages, productions systems, incident management, and response.

This team will take on a lot of SRE responsibilities including but not limited to working with application monitoring, server, and network monitoring.
