Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cloud Architect / Linux Admin / Server Admin based in Kochi. The role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure, with a focus on Linux-based environments and server administration.
Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining servers; managing virtualization and cloud platforms; handling backups, security hardening, patching, and performance tuning; and troubleshooting system and network issues. The position also includes collaborating with development and operations teams on solution architecture, supporting integrations between applications and services, and documenting infrastructure, procedures, and best practices. The Cloud Architect / Linux Admin / Server Admin will participate in incident response, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of system reliability and availability.
Qualifications Strong skills in Solution Architecture and Architecture for designing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure management, including Linux server administration, virtualization, storage, and networking. Experience collaborating with Software Development teams to support deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and environment configuration.
Knowledge of Integration concepts, including APIs, service connectivity, and secure data exchange across systems. Proficiency with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and configuration management or automation tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar). Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, as well as security best practices and compliance considerations.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant certifications in cloud, Linux, or infrastructure administration are an advantage.
