Employment Term: Permanent Full Time/Part Time Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61 hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties

What you’ll do?
- Coordinate the clinical and operational readiness of the Urology service.
- Support the Clinical Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Coordinators in the ongoing development, coordination and delivery of a high-quality Urology service.
- Ensure equipment, instrumentation and consumables are available and prepared for upcoming operating lists.
- Maintain and update surgeon preference cards and theatre pick lists to support efficient and safe theatre workflow.
- Coordinate the introduction, evaluation and standardisation of new equipment, instrumentation and consumables in collaboration with surgeons, CSSD and the multidisciplinary team.
- Mentor, coach and support junior staff, graduates and new team members to foster professional growth and excellence in urology nursing.
- Coordinate education, competency assessment and ongoing professional development within the Urology specialty.
- Act as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team, promoting best practice and providing expert support in urology nursing.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives with a focus on patient safety, evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement.
What makes a Difference for Us?
- Bachelor of Nursing degree (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
- Significant perioperative nursing experience with demonstrated expertise in Urology.
- Previous experience in a Clinical Nurse, Clinical Facilitator or senior perioperative role is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
- Experience coordinating specialty equipment, instrumentation and clinical resources.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Australian working rights (we are unable to offer sponsorship currently).
- Availability to work across AM and PM shifts with participation in an on-call roster.
- Willingness to meet vaccination and immunisation requirements in line with hospital infection prevention and control standards.
