Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide courteous and prompt assistance to clients by phone, email, and text.
* Collect applications, loss runs, current policy documents, driver information, property details, and other underwriting information.
* Review submitted information for completeness and accuracy before requesting quotes.
* Enter client and risk information into agency management systems, carrier portals, and comparative-rating platforms.
* Enter accounts into appropriate insurance carriers according to agency guidelines and producer direction.
* Compare premiums, coverage limits, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements, and available discounts.
* Prepare organized quote summaries and proposals for review by the producer or licensed account manager.
* Contact clients to obtain missing information and provide timely updates regarding quote status.
* Assist with renewal reviews, remarketing, and requoting as assigned.
* Maintain accurate notes, activities, documents, and follow-up dates in the agency management system.
* Assist with, billing questions, and identification card requests
* Recognize opportunities for additional coverage and refer them to the appropriate licensed producer.
* Follow agency procedures, carrier requirements, confidentiality standards, and applicable insurance regulations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, carrier websites, and online rating systems.
* Strong attention to detail, organization, written communication, and follow-up skills. (THIS IS A MUST)
* Ability to prioritize assignments and perform accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* One or more years of insurance, customer service, sales support, or administrative experience preferred.
* Experience with Applied Epic or another agency management system is a plus.
