Client Relationship Manager (Banking) Role Summary Join us as a Client Relationship Manager and help shape high-value client partnerships through strategic guidance, responsive service, and growth-focused solutions. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who excels at deepening client connections, solving complex needs, and creating long-term value across institutional trust and commercial banking accounts. Key Responsibilities Manages service and relationship needs for institutional trust and commercial banking clients.
Builds client relationships and identifies opportunities to expand products and services. Partners with internal relationship teams to grow shared client accounts. Anticipates client needs and delivers tailored solutions.
Responds to client inquiries and coordinates daily account activity. Collaborates across the bank to implement client solutions. Maintains accurate documentation of services, procedures, and client communications.
Develops insight into client goals, business models, and market challenges. Advises clients on products, regulations, and market developments affecting their business. Promotes relevant solutions and supports successful implementation of new services.
Supports client profitability and relationship growth. Assesses client creditworthiness. Travels as needed to support client service and business development.
Qualifications College degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of client service experience in financial services or banking. Strong knowledge of banking, funds, treasury management, and client relationship management. Strong negotiation, leadership, sales, and client service skills.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools. Knowledge of laws and regulations related to credit, operational, and compliance risk. Understanding of portfolio management concepts.
Technical aptitude with data, systems, and digital tools. AML/KYC, APIs, and ISO 20022 knowledge is a plus. Salary Range $95,565–$130,000 (base pay).
