Qualifications At least 3 years clinical experience in NICU Minimum 2 years as CNS Schedule may vary between day and night No weekends required No RTO within first two weeks of orientation Certifications required: BLS, NRP, CNS, MSN Responsibilities Creates and develops evidence-based policies, procedures, protocols, and best practice models/guidelines. Contributes to the development of Staff Educational Program. Educates Staff.

Identifies specific competencies reflective of the needs of NICU Population. PI. Committee participation with Medical Staff.

Provides consultation to staff nurses in clinical, administrative, and educational role conducts clinical inquiries to determine the need to change practice. Will not take patient assignment. Utilizes advanced clinical knowledge and communication skills through role modeling, consultation, and education with nurses and healthcare providers to support nursing practice and improve patient outcome. #J-18808-Ljbffr
