Compliance Analyst As a CLE Compliance Analyst II, you will play a key role within the Risk Management Compliance team, supporting attorneys and Firm leadership in managing Continuing Legal Education (CLE) compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Associate Director of CLE Compliance, this role sits within the Risk Management Compliance department and partners closely with colleagues across Risk Management and the Office of the General Counsel. You will help track attorney compliance, maintain accreditation, interpret evolving regulatory requirements, and contribute to solutions that mitigate risk and strengthen operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities Compliance Tracking & Support - Partner with attorneys to monitor CLE compliance across jurisdictions, ensuring timely adherence to reporting deadlines.

Regulatory Expertise - Develop and maintain knowledge of MCLE requirements to guide attorneys and support compliance inquiries. Accreditation & Credit Reporting - Maintain firm accreditation, assess program eligibility, secure CLE credit approvals, and report attendance to relevant boards. Risk Identification & Resolution - Research MCLE requirements, identify potential compliance risks, and escalate issues with practical, solution-oriented recommendations.

Process Improvement - Enhance workflows, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and reduce risk. Project & Team Support - Lead or assist with special projects and provide coverage support as needed to meet departmental priorities. Communication - Respond to inquiries from attorneys and internal stakeholders with clear, timely, and service-focused communication, especially on time-sensitive matters.

Collaboration & Service Excellence - Deliver high-quality support while building strong cross-functional relationships. Confidentiality & Responsiveness - Handle sensitive matters with discretion, exercising sound judgment in urgent situations. Qualifications Education - Bachelor's degree required.

Experience - Approximately 2 years of related experience in compliance, risk, or a similar function; experience with CE Manager or Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred. Legal Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with law firm operations and regulatory environments strongly preferred. Analytical Skills - Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements, assess risk, and recommend practical solutions.

Attention to Detail - High level of accuracy when managing sensitive information. Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication with a professional, service-oriented approach. Judgment & Discretion - Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters responsibly.
