Civil Project Manager / Estimator A well-established and growing mechanical and civil services company in the Portland Metro area is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager / Estimator to join its team. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role with a company known for delivering complex infrastructure, underground utility, excavation, drilling, and site development projects across the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for someone who can confidently estimate and manage projects ranging from emergency repair work to large-scale commercial and civil construction projects.

What You’ll Do Prepare estimates and bids for civil construction and underground utility projects Manage projects from estimating through completion Review plans, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and vendors Handle budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and project tracking Support emergency repair estimates and ongoing commercial projects Build and maintain client relationships to generate ongoing business opportunities Manage multiple projects and bid deadlines simultaneously Types of Projects Underground utilities Sewer and water repair Excavation and site prep Commercial site development Directional drilling projects Public and private infrastructure work Qualifications Experience estimating and/or managing civil construction projects Comfortable bidding projects ranging from smaller repairs to multi-million-dollar jobs Strong understanding of underground utilities, excavation, site work, or related civil trades Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with field and office teams Valid driver’s license required Prior field experience highly valued Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + performance-based earning potential $115,000 with variable compensation at 3% of estimated/collected revenue.
