Civil Graduate Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Apply Job Type Full-time Description Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater service team in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. Duties and Responsibilities Work as a key member of a water/wastewater team under the direction of a Project Engineer/Project Manager.

Job duties may include, but are not limited to: * Research and evaluation of data * Conduct field reviews and other assessments * Prepare detailed engineering calculations * Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, presentations and exhibits. * Prepare hydraulic modeling and technical reports for agency review. * Prepare detailed construction drawings, including horizontal and vertical alignments; plan and profile; utility design and rehabilitation. * Prepare construction cost estimates/quantity takeoffs * Coordinate with internal team members, government entities, utility service providers and subconsultants * Manage task assignments for budget and schedule adherence * Perform reviews of all work product for accuracy * Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service. * Lead by example - display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism. Required Skills * Outgoing, friendly, approachable * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills * Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet project deadlines * Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Prior exposure to AutoDesk Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications Required Experience * 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience * BS in Civil Engineering * EIT certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
