Civil Engineering Field Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Field Engineer in Civil Earthworks. Oversee construction activities for a major hydropower rehabilitation project while ensuring compliance with engineering standards on-site. This site-based role, located on Vancouver Island, requires on-the-ground technical oversight.

You will support project execution by monitoring progress, inspecting construction activities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Essential skills include a strong grasp of project specifications and effective communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee construction and installation activities on-site • Develop understanding of project specifications and contractor submissions • Coordinate with KCB engineering professionals and stakeholders • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with designs • Prepare and review technical documentation and reports Requirements: • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering required • 2–6 years in heavy civil or hydropower construction • E.I.T designation with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia • Valid Class 5 Driver's License in good standing • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills Utilize your civil engineering expertise to ensure successful project delivery and compliance on significant clean energy developments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
