Civils Engineer Leicester Based | Salary: £35k-£60k depending on experience Permanent, Full-Time Are you an experienced Civils Engineer ? Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Civils Engineer/Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation in the industry. Due to an expanding workload and continued growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join their Leicester office in a leadership capacity and become a key member of a highly skilled and supportive tea m.This is a customer-facing role suited to a forward-thinking individual who can work both independently and collaboratively.

You will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering a variety of projects from concept through to completion, working on both new build and refurbishment schemes across a diverse portfolio, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to business growt h. What's on Off er:· Competitive salary package (dependent on experien ce)· Opportunity to lead on a diverse and complex project portfo lio· Clear career progress ion· Supportive, friendly, and collaborative team environm ent· Strong focus on professional growth, leadership, and skill developm ent· Excellent staff retention and positive company cult ure· Opportunity to play a key role within a well-established consulta ncy Qualificat ionsEssent ial:· Ideally a degree in civil engineering or similar with 4 years’ relevant post graduate experie nce.· A good knowledge of highway design, and drain age.· Knowledge and experience of highway design standards – DMRB and Manual for Stre ets.· Experience in the design of both commercial and residential developments including infrastructure, external works and drain age.· Knowledge and experience of highway and drainage adoption processes and legal requirements for S278, S38 and S 104.· Knowledge and experience of earthworks strateg ies.· Experience of meeting attendance to discuss issues with clients, architects, contractors, local authorities and other statutory bod ies.· Good understanding and use of software packages including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site 3D and F low.· Strong communication and negotiation ski lls.· Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to maintain good reco rds.· Excellent problem-solving sk ills Roles & Responsibil ities· Provide civil engineering design expertise and technical support across a range of commercial and residential pro jects· Ensure all designs comply with current legislation, relevant standards, council policies, and best practice gui dance· Deliver high-quality engineering solutions to required technical stan dards· Support and contribute to a growing and strategically important sector of the bus iness· Work on a varied portfolio of projects, from small-scale highway improvements to large multi-million-pound, multi-storey develop ments· Liaise and collaborate with both private and public sector cl ients· Produce and develop designs across all project stages, inclu ding:· Appraisal stage· Planning stage· Detailed design stage· Design and develop infrastructure schemes including highways, external works, and drainage sy stems· Apply strong knowledge of highway, earthworks, and drainage design in project del ivery· Contribute to both major and minor commercial and residential development pro jects· Work within a consultancy environment delivering coordinated and practical engineering solu tions Health, Safety & Comp lianceAll employees are requir ed to:· Comply with all employment legislation and relevant codes of good pra ctice.· Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legisl ation.· Co-operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are alway s met.
