Job Description
Civil/Structural Engineer Location: Washington, DC (On-site, 5 days/week) Salary Range: $70.00/hr - $75.00/hr Overview Seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to support substation and construction projects. The role requires strong skills in steel and concrete design and experience with electric utility projects. Key Responsibilities Perform structural analysis and design for substation and civil projects.
Use STAAD, Mathcad, and L-Pile for design and analysis. Prepare and review drawings, calculations, and specifications. Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction efforts. Requirements 5–10 years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience. Proven experience in electric utility projects (must-have).
Proficient in STAAD, Mathcad, and L-Pile. Expertise in steel and concrete design. Education Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience).
