Civil Engineer, (DC and pharma) Dublin

DesignBuild Search are working with a rapidly expanding Irish construction company, Due to growth across Ireland and Europe they have multiple openings for Electrical Engineers. The successful applicants will be involved in DC, Pharma and Industrial projects. To be considered you must hold a valid EU passport as occasional travel to European project might be required.

Scope of projects include:

Pharma

Food processing plant

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering. Construction management or related field
• 3+ years post college experience
• Previous experience on DC, Pharma or DC projects

Responsibilities include:

• Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Setting out using a variety of instruments as chosen by the company
• Supervise and monitor subcontractor’s work
• Report progress of works to Package Manager and highlight any issues
• Provide technical guidance and resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Quality management and BCAR co-ordination
• Adhere to planning, health and safety and environmental standards
• Weekly and monthly reporting of data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
• Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time
