Children Senior Residential Support Worker

Residential Support Worker (RSW) £24,500 - £32,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, and well-being of children and young people at all times. Build positive, respectful relationships and support individual care plans. Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using approved strategies. Support emotional well-being, education, life skills, and recreational activities. Assist with personal care, health needs, and (where trained) medication administration. Maintain accurate records and liaise with families and external professionals. Contribute to a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment. Work flexibly to a shift rota, including sleep-ins, and attend supervision and training.

Requirements: Willingness to take personal responsibility for safeguarding and professional conduct. Ability to work as part of a team and follow policies and regulatory standards.
