\nWhat you will do
\nAs the Chief Engineer based inCaloundra,you will leadOmni’s Rotary Wing Maintenance Teamandsupport:
\nManagement of a motivated,high-qualityaviation maintenanceteam
\nEnsuring that the AMOcomplies withCASA Regulations and the AMO’s exposition in relation to matters for which he or she is responsible.
\nExternal customeraircraftsupportand maintenance delivery
\nCustomer engagement, planning,qualityand compliance outcomes
\nThe team’s work includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance,aircraftrefurbishmentand AOG defect rectification.You’llreport to the General Manager and play a key role inensuringmaintenanceis planned,resourcedand deliveredsafely, efficiently, and in line with CASA and Part 145 standards.
\nThis role suits an experienced aviation maintenance leader who can lead the team, own theoutcomesand stay hands-on when needed.
\nSupport and develop people
\nOversee safety, quality,complianceand delivery
\nStay close toaircraftmaintenance activity
\nStep in to support priorities,issuesor technical decisions
\nKeep work moving safely, efficiently and to standard
\nAircraft Maintenance Engineer qualification, or relevant type-specific qualification
\nSignificantaircraftengineering or aviation maintenance experience, ideally5+ years
\nStrong working knowledge of CASA requirements, aviation maintenancestandardsand regulatory compliance
\nExperience in a senior maintenance, engineering control, maintenanceplanningor aviation operations leadership role
\nDemonstrated experience leading,mentoringor supervising technical teams
\nStrong maintenance planning,prioritisationand resource management capability
\nSound commercial judgement, including awareness of cost, time, quality,riskand customer impacts
\nAustralian Citizenship and ability to obtain andmaintaina minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
\nProficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite and aviation maintenance systems such asAerotrackorsimilar
\nIn addition, the below requirements are desirable:
\nType experience across Bell 206, AS350, H130 or BK117 platforms
\nEngine experience across Arriel, Rolls Royce C20/30 or LTS101 series engines
