Job Description
TVS is opening a vibrant neighborhood tapas restaurant inspired by the flavors, energy, and communal spirit of Spain. Our menu celebrates traditional and modern Spanish small plates, seasonal ingredients, and a lively dining experience that brings people together. We are seeking an individual with a great attitude, high energy and a strong work ethic to join our fast-growing restaurant.
The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for the successful operation of the kitchen thru supervising and developing kitchen staff, ensuring proper preparation and execution of menu items while meeting budget goals to drive the success of the business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Making sure recipes are being executed up to standard -Overseeing flow of service, as well as line checks and stations -Meat and Fish Fabrication -Preparing food to order in an expedient manner -Station set up, maintaining a clean work environment, and breaking down and cleaning at the end of the shift -Daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance side work -Prepping mise en place for service -Following food safety protocol at all times -Assist development of new menu items and daily specials -Facilitate in ordering of produce, meats, fish and dairy -Manage receiving of all deliveries to be in good condition and up to standard Ideal candidates must be able to work cleanly and efficiently, have respect for ingredients, and pay careful attention to detail in preparation. Candidate must also be able to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
