Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef de Cuisine based in San Diego, CA. The Chef de Cuisine will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage the food preparation process, and ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Responsibilities include leading and mentoring kitchen staff, designing innovative menus, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. The Chef de Cuisine will also collaborate with management to deliver an exceptional culinary experience for guests. Qualifications Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking, with the ability to create innovative and high-quality dishes Strong understanding and adherence to Hygiene standards in a professional kitchen Excellent Communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and coordinate kitchen staff Customer Service skills to ensure guest satisfaction through culinary excellence Ability to manage kitchen inventory, minimize food waste, and maintain cost control Experience in menu development and wine pairing is a plus ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with leadership experience strongly preferred
