Job Description

This position is a 39h contract - to be filled for a duration of 5,5 months, starting from 1st of December 2026.

As a Chalet Host, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional daily service to guests and ensuring that our luxury properties are maintained to the highest standards. This is a hands-on and varied role that includes ensuring service areas are clean and organised as well as the rest of guest areas, setting and serving meals, lighting fires, completing bedroom turn-downs in the evenings, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest experience, proactive, discreet, work well in a team, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure every stay is truly unforgettable.

Guest Service & Hosting

Deliver warm, professional, and discreet service from guest arrival to departure

Anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond to exceed expectations

Set up, serve, and clear meals and drinks with precision and elegance

Provide assistance with guest requests and in-resort logistics where needed

Breakfast Preparation

Prepare and serve breakfast daily, following Le Collectionist standards and menus

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and service area

Manage breakfast timing in coordination with the guests and chef.

Perform daily housekeeping to the highest standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas

Manage linen changes, turndown service, and in-chalet laundry

Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the chalet at all times.

Ambiance & Chalet Maintenance

Light and maintain fires, adjust lighting, and create a cosy and luxurious atmosphere

Proactively ensure the chalet is always beautifully presented and guest‑ready

Monitor and report any maintenance or technical issues promptly.

Work closely with the chalet chef, manager, and driver to deliver a seamless guest experience

Communicate effectively with your team to coordinate tasks and resolve issues

Show initiative and flexibility, supporting team members across roles when needed.

Manage in-chalet supplies, restock amenities, and organise storage areas

Adhere to all health, hygiene, and safety protocols in food handling and cleaning

Assist with deliveries and stock inventory where required.

Working Hours and Specific Requirements: Our on-site presence and industry standards require working on Saturdays and Sundays (hotel-industry model), particularly during the high season. Work is organized on a rotating basis with the rest of the on-site team, and overtime hours can be taken as time off in lieu.

Qualifications

Required skills & experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in the luxury hospitality sector (chalets, hotels, yachts, events, etc.)

Fluent in spoken English

Positive, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Reliable, discreet, and service-oriented

Well-presented and comfortable in a guest‑facing role

Passionate about hospitality and mountain life

Valid driving licence B

Nice to have:

Strong housekeeping skills with a high attention to detail

Some cooking experience (professional kitchen, cookery course, or group catering)

French or German spoken is a plus
