Job Description
Position Overview AAB is a professional services firm operating across the UK, Ireland and the USA. The Operational Finance role supports mid‑market clients with comprehensive accountancy services, including audit, tax, corporate finance, payroll, people consultancy and wealth management. Key Responsibilities Provide a full range of accountancy services to a portfolio of clients.
Prepare management reports and perform statutory reporting and review. Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a key liaison for audit and finance matters. Develop cashflow and forecast models and support one‑off client projects.
Manage resource requirements, ensuring the team is adequately supported and skilled. Mentor, motivate and coach junior team members, identifying training needs. Collaborate effectively across business areas, stakeholders and the wider professional network.
Identify business development opportunities and actively pursue them. Qualifications & Experience Fully qualified accountant with experience in practice or the industry. Strong problem‑solving skills, delivering solutions and implementation plans.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder relationships. Competent in Excel and Word. Comfortable in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment.
