Job Description
Overview Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is looking for an Event Manager for product demonstrations. This role involves recruiting, hiring and supervising in‑store product demonstrators, preparing and presenting products, training staff, and ensuring superb service to all club members. The position requires strong communication with warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators, and participation in new location grand openings.

Oversee product preparation and presentation, including food safety and sanitation. Train demonstrators in demonstration preparation and customer service.
Communicate between managers, vendors, and demonstrators. Participate in new location grand openings as required. Direct all activities for successful events, promotions, and sales of vendor products.
Communicate strategies and tactics to achieve sales, service, and operational excellence. Support maintenance and development of corporate governance framework, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with the District Manager to evaluate event performance metrics, including execution rates, sales performance, labor hours, and operational costs, and make adjustments as needed.
Achieve defined revenue and net income objectives through sales activation, strategy, and expense management. Optimize customer satisfaction and loyalty through improved operations. Requirements High school education or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
Two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments; 3‑5 years of experience in a client‑side, branded, consumer‑packaged goods company or a combination of supplier‑side and client‑side experience is also acceptable. Detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to lead well‑performing teams.
Ability to exercise independent judgment. Ability to coach and counsel employees and take correct measures as needed. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Supervising skills including delegation, training, and performance evaluation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and web browsers. NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification required. Physical ability to spend at least 66% of the workday in activities such as physical activity, lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and working in cold conditions; ability to travel and drive.
