The Job!

You will serve as the main point-of-contact to coordinate and administer the career development initiatives and services for the organization's prospects, students, and designated members, along with employers looking to hire qualified professionals.


  • Coordinate career development initiatives and projects, supporting benchmarking and future program development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employers and external partners, acting as a liaison for organizations seeking career development tools and resources.
  • Collaborate with the Stakeholder Relations team to develop employment channels and connect employers, service providers, and organizations with qualified professionals.
  • Coordinate and manage all virtual and in-person career development events, workshops, webinars, and educational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners, hiring managers, recruiters, and HR leaders to deliver career development programming, including resume workshops, job prospect updates, networking events, and guest speaking opportunities.
  • Facilitate webinars and moderate live Q&A sessions, with comfort presenting to large virtual audiences.
  • Attend education and credentialing sessions, including video recordings and designation-related events, as required.
  • Utilize technology and AI tools to enhance learning resources, including creating videos, voiceovers, and online learning materials.
  • Support the organization's SharePoint site and other technology-based initiatives.
  • Serve as first point of contact for continuing professional education inquiries, and respond to student and candidate inquiries regarding transfer of credit and program requirements.
  • Promote career development resources and toolkits.
  • Monitor program participation and engagement while preparing reports on program performance, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with the Public Relations team to ensure ongoing, active LinkedIn engagement about the organization's career development initiatives.
  • Benchmark related professions and industries, along with education institutions and non-profits, to bring new ideas to the organization's career development initiative.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the organization's mentorship program, monitoring participant activity and engagement.
  • Recommend improvements to policies, processes, and participant resources.
  • Minimal travel within the GTA to support events, meetings, and educational initiatives.


What You Bring to the Job

You are a proactive, organized, and relationship-focused professional who can balance high-volume communications and competing deadlines.

  • Post-secondary education / college diploma (Business Administration preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in career development, program coordination, or education.
  • Experience planning and coordinating virtual or in-person events, webinars, and workshops.
  • Experience building relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage a high volume of inquiries.
  • Comfort presenting virtually, facilitating webinars, and speaking confidently to large audiences.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience using SharePoint and other collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
