POSITION DESCRIPTION: Located on Gouin Boulevard across from the Rivière des Prairies, the Gouin-Langelier Complex welcomes clients who are independent or experiencing a loss of autonomy.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Care Manager with a background in Licensed Practical Nursing and extensive management experience. The Care Manager plans, directs, and oversees all activities related to resident care and well-being.
They ensure compliance with professional standards and the regulations governing the certification of private seniors' residences in their sector. This is a permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime hours, and one weekend out of two. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct new employee onboarding, probation follow-ups, annual evaluations and the application of disciplinary measures Departmental budget management Organize regular team meetings in coordination with the Director of Care Participate in the certification process and the implementation of recommendations from recognized accreditation bodies Plan and coordinate employee work plans Management Act as an intermediary for various external stakeholders (physicians, pharmacists, CLSC, CISSS/CIUSSS, etc.) Health Care Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.) Proactively assist and support the residents Provide a range of nursing care and treatments in order to maintain and restore residents health and to help prevent illness Respond to all emergency situations EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing Experience in personnel management At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing with a minimum of 1 year in administration A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software Member of the OIIAQ Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in health management (RPA ideally) BENEFITS: Salary to be discussed Free parking Free meals Uniform provided Referral Program Recognition program Group insurance Sick days and time off for family obligations Social leave Floating days off Vacation Telemedicine Human management approach Challenging opportunities, up to your ambitions!
