Care assistants part-time opportunities

Prosper Fingal, part of the Prosper Group, supports adults with intellectual disabilities and autism across North County Dublin. We work alongside the people we support to create opportunities, promote independence and support people to live meaningful, connected lives within their communities. As Prosper Fingal prepares to welcome new admissions to our services from September, we are looking for caring and motivated Care Assistants to join our Day Services teams across North County Dublin.

These are permanent positions working 20 hours per week. Specific locations will be discussed with candidates during the recruitment process. Location: Various Prosper Fingal locations Hours: 20 hours per week Contract: Permanent Salary: €16.01€23.15 per hour, depending on experience About the Role: As a Care Assistant, you will: Provide person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Support people with everyday living skills and personal development. Promote independence, choice and inclusion. Encourage participation in social, recreational and community activities.

Support individuals to work towards their personal goals. Build positive relationships with the people we support, their families and colleagues. Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Essential Requirements A relevant QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a related area. A full, clean manual driving licence.(desirable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, person-centred approach.

Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities is desirable. Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team. What We Offer Generous annual leave.
