Business Operations Manager, Enterprise Support Strategy & Operations (ESSO) Job ID: 10443063 | Amazon Web Services, Inc. AWS Support Field Strategy & Operations welcomes the role of Business Operations Manager within the Enterprise Support team. This role supports field teams with operational cadence, business performance and productivity, and championing internal customer needs.
The Business Operations builder drives day‑to‑day business operations—maintaining data integrity—and contributes to strategic planning such as hiring mechanisms and productivity improvement plans. Initiatives are led in alignment with organizational strategy and partnership with stakeholder teams. Key Job Responsibilities Manage business planning for field teams and key stakeholders.
Own execution of Geo/Area planning, productivity improvements, site/level mix planning, headcount planning, goals planning, operational target setting and budgeting. Utilize operations tools such as Quicksight and Excel. Apply controllership to variable headcount plans to minimize business risks and maximize opportunities.
Analyze large data sets to mitigate business risk and downstream impacts. Toggle between tactical actions and long-term initiatives, projects, and planning activities. Work independently with stakeholders to identify business needs and design/implement solutions.
Maintain working knowledge of data available for complex or comparative analysis. Draft written and verbal communication for management and cross‑functional settings. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software. Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience. Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company.
