Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description Job Description Our valued client in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst on a contract basis. This position supports data-driven decision-making across Operations and Finance. This role will initially focus on developing new reporting and analytics for cash flow and revenue, while also supporting broader BI initiatives across the organization.

We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, highly motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. What You’ll Do • Develop dashboards and reports for historical cash flow, trends, current-state metrics, and projections. • Build revenue analysis for bad debt, collections, unbillable amounts, and revenue categories • Provide MOM and YOY revenue comparisons. • Partner with Operations and Finance to define requirements and deliver actionable insights. • Build and optimize SQL data models, queries, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server. • Design intuitive, high-performing dashboards in Tableau. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, documentation, and interpretability for stakeholders. What We’re Looking For • Minimum 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics. • Strong SQL skills, with emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server. • High proficiency in Tableau for data visualization. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting financial or revenue-cycle analytics. • Background in transportation, tolling, or public-sector organizations. • Familiarity with ETL processes or data integration tools.
