About the Role Fragomen's Business Immigration Consultant position will provide you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business, as well as offer training, development, and long‐term growth opportunities. Responsibilities Perform substantive and client‐facing work that goes beyond typical paralegal duties in a law firm setting, with specialized knowledge and skills in employment‐based immigration matters.

Independently prepare and file petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, review, case analysis, and drafting. Oversee case status using case‐management and billing systems, generate reports, and assist with case reviews. Conduct client intake, troubleshoot issues, establish case strategy, and recommend solutions and process improvements.

Generate clear, well‐organized written work products that demonstrate accurate application of immigration knowledge and problem‐solving skills. Proactively communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing timely status updates and responses to general inquiries. Meet assigned deadlines in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to the supervisor.

Assist in hiring and training new team members while identifying ways to improve team productivity and office‐wide projects. Recognize and incorporate changes to immigration policy into processes in collaboration with leadership. Be fluent with case‐management and reporting tools used to manage data and information.

Contribute to team and individual productivity goals while following firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance. Demonstrate a continuous‐improvement mindset and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization of processes, products, or services. Qualifications Associate's degree or paralegal certificate plus 4 years of business immigration experience, OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of business immigration experience.

Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non‐immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without using AI engines. Experience using computer systems, including MS Word and Excel.

Compensation Salary range: $75,000.00 – $89,000.00 for a hybrid schedule in the local office. Eligibility for additional benefits such as the 401(k) plan and paid time off.
