Business Development Manager Job Details Location: GTA - Hybrid/Remote Type of Employment: Full Time, Permanent Reporting to: Director of Sales Direct Reports: None Job Purpose As a Business Development Manager, this role will conduct sales out in the field via face‑to‑face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They will be responsible for offering the best possible customer experience from cradle to grave as well as providing hands‑on explanations of new or updated trailers when necessary. Key Responsibilities Developing and executing business development plans to achieve company goals, including identifying new markets, products, or services.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions. Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for growth. Identifying and pursuing new leads, qualifying them, and moving them through the sales cycle.

Negotiating and securing deals, including contract terms, pricing, and payment schedules. Working closely with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to align strategies and execute business development initiatives. Tracking key metrics, preparing reports, and analyzing results to improve business development efforts.

Duties Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers. Conduct calls and face‑to‑face meetings with customers daily. Build relationships with new and repeat customers.

Understand and clearly communicate the features and benefits of the various products and services, parts, and accessories. Demonstrate effective communication with current and prospective customers to learn customer business needs. Maintain CRM records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.

Maintain and document in the CRM regular follow‑up with prospective and current clients. Understand and communicate the Miska Value Proposition. Participate in weekly sales team meetings to discuss issues, concerns, monthly targets, and promotions.

Follow company processes and procedures. Education and Experience Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in related field is an asset. 3–5 years of outside sales experience required. Core Competencies Sales acumen; outgoing and personable demeanor.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Customer service/sales in an automotive industry. Knowledge of landscaping, construction, and/or contractor needs is an asset.

The ability to quickly learn and retain information on Miska's wide variety of products. Well‑organized with administrative tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
