As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for proactively identifying, assessing and developing New Business opportunities.

By leading direct business development activities, you’ll establish relevant strategies, harness internal resources and develop long term client relationships to achieve both individual and divisional financial targets and KPI’s.

How you’ll add value:

  • Accelerate business growth by exceeding targets and delivering a strategic 12-month plan across key existing and prospective clients.
  • Unlock new opportunities through market intelligence, asset targeting and cross-functional collaboration to expand Clinigen’s client network and pipeline.
  • Champion Clinigen’s industry leadership by educating clients, sharing expert insights and representing the business through conferences, webinars, publications and speaking engagements.
  • Lead complex sales opportunities from initial value proposition through to solution delivery, driving sustainable growth and maximising profitability.
  • Build and strengthen strategic client partnerships by leading negotiations, securing commercial agreements and uncovering new early access opportunities.
  • Drive exceptional client engagement by managing enquiries, enhancing service delivery and collaborating across teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Build and strengthen strategic Pharma and Biotech partnerships through proactive stakeholder engagement, industry networking and consultative relationship management
  • Drive account growth and client retention by aligning with clinical, medical and study teams, identifying upcoming programme needs and unlocking cross-divisional opportunities across the drug development and access continuum
  • Enhance the client experience through clear communication, efficient enquiry management and continuous service improvement

About you:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Demonstrable successful sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry / pharmaceutical services sector
  • Experience of working as part of a global team
  • Demonstrable record of consistent achievement of results
  • Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented environment
