Main Focus:

Driving corporate accounts, group bookings, and event revenue, this is a client-facing, proactive and reactive sales and events position. The role is responsible for targeting new room and event accounts, while maintaining relationships with existing accounts to retain and develop business within the local market.

Role Overview

  • Generate new business and build corporate client relationships.
  • Run sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections at the property.
  • Track competitor pricing, occupancy rates, and marketing moves.
  • Work with the marketing team on promotions and advertising materials.
  • Manage current client relationships to encourage repeat bookings working closely with M&E office, Reservation Office and Front Desk

Experience

  • Minimum three years of sales experience in the hotel or hospitality sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Confidence to engage with clients face to face, coupled with excellent written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of local corporate and tourism markets.
  • Complete monthly tracking reports and identify new leads.
  • To manage the contracting and RFP portals for the corporate accounts.
  • Maintain up to date client databases and the CRM system.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong network within the Dublin corporate or hospitality sectors.
  • IHG knowledge beneficial -training provided.

Full-time on-site position and is predominately Monday - Friday with some flexibility in working hours.
