Business Development Manager - Apprenticeship Programmes Prescot, England, United Kingdom Company: Bitrecruit Client / Employer: Occupop What You’ll Do Responding to business-generated opportunities and engaging with employers to drive learner starts on apprenticeship courses and online programmes. Providing expert guidance on apprenticeship levy and funding options to advise and support clients. Facilitating seamless client handovers to our Operations and L&D Departments.
Generating and developing leads into new clients using available systems, data and technologies, as well as personal acumen and insight. Preparing proposals and contracts that meet stakeholder budgets and expectations. Managing existing client accounts with a focused and personable approach to build strong relationships and achieve repeat business.
Attending networking events and opportunities to discover new business leads and stay ahead of industry developments and trends. Cross‑selling and upselling product solutions to maximise client benefit. Building effective working relationships with the Marketing team to ensure client reach and engagement.
Collaborating with the wider Client Solutions team to ensure client satisfaction. Working closely with the Finance team to maintain financially healthy client accounts and adhere to terms. Ensuring individual and team targets are met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date sales records for effective tracking and analysis. Actively communicating customer feedback to internal stakeholders to foster continuous improvement. Providing responsive support to internal and external queries to demonstrate exceptional service delivery.
Supporting the Head of Client Solutions with administrative and project support as required. Performing any other ad‑hoc duties and responding to reasonable requests in line with business needs and skill level. What We’re Looking For Proven 2+ years’ experience in a similar apprenticeship‑sector role.
A consultative and solution‑focused sales approach. A strong network of contacts across LinkedIn and other sources. The ability to work independently while being a keen team player.
