Business Development Manager Freight Forwarding | San Francisco, CA We are hiring a Business Development Manager to grow new business across San Francisco and the Bay Area freight forwarding market. This role is focused on selling international logistics services, including air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and domestic transportation. Responsibilities Develop new business across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area Sell air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and transportation solutions Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, technology companies, and supply chain decision-makers Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through implementation Partner with pricing and operations teams to build competitive logistics solutions Support RFQs, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations Maintain strong pipeline activity and deliver revenue growth across assigned territory Requirements 3+ years of freight forwarding, 3PL, or international logistics sales experience Proven success generating new business in logistics or supply chain services Strong understanding of air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, and domestic transportation Existing San Francisco or Bay Area shipper relationships preferred Experience selling into technology, electronics, life sciences, or manufacturing accounts preferred Strong communication, negotiation, and account development skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Uncapped commission Car allowance Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) PTO Long-term progression into commercial leadership Qualified freight forwarding sales professionals are encouraged to apply directly or confidentially express interest.
