Logihire is recruiting on behalf of a privately owned freight and distribution business with a long-standing footprint across Melbourne. They're investing in the next generation of their sales team, and we're looking for an ambitious early-career salesperson who wants more than just a job — someone chasing real earnings and a career that goes somewhere.
You’ll own a patch, build your own pipeline and win new customers. The team around you is big, experienced and led by people who started in seats just like this one — which tells you everything about where this role can take you.
The week ahead of youNo two days are identical, but the rhythm is simple: part of your week is spent face-to-face with prospects and customers across Melbourne, and the rest is spent building your pipeline — researching, networking and booking your next round of meetings. You’ll have a modern CRM and lead‑gen tools behind you, plus admin support so you can stay focused on selling.

All in, a realistic first‑year package of $130k–$155k OTE
A salesperson with roughly 1–2 years’ experience — transport, freight, courier or logistics exposure is a big plus, but attitude matters more
A natural opener: comfortable picking up the phone, walking into a room, and turning a cold conversation into a warm one
Ambitious about earnings and progression — the business has a track record of developing its salespeople into leaders
Genuine and down‑to‑earth — this is a team that values real people who do what they say they’ll do
Looking to build something long‑term, not collect another 12‑month stint for the CV
