Business Development Director ( Outside Sales ) Role: The Business Development Director drives Cornerstone expansion through new client acquisition and proactive, outbound sales activities. This person will partner with inside sales to develop quotes,maintainpositive customer relationships,prospect and qualify new leads,and proactivelysolicitnew business development opportunities. Acting as a direct company representative in the market, this individual will always portray Cornerstone values and willoperatewith integrity in the marketplaceand atindustry events.

Responsibilities: Operate within an EOS environment and have the passion to collaborate with others as well as function as a self-starter. Perform at allstages of the sales process,including cold outreach, prospecting, market research, negotiation, and closing. Clearly communicatewithcustomers via proposal quotes, calls, emails, and account visits.

Log all sales activity and outreach inCRMdatabase. Lead the negotiation process with the customer to secure new project work, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Workinternally with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensurenew customer setupis donetimelyand completely.

Meet quarterly sales goals and weekly scorecard KPIs and measurements. Proactive follow up on allnew client inbound leads. Stayup-to-datewith industry trends and news as well as developments in Cornerstone service or product offerings.

Act with an entrepreneurial mindset and help develop best practices, playbooks, tools, and processes for the sales & marketing team. Performadditionalassignments as directed by the supervisor or leadership team. Embrace EOS Culture anddemonstrateCornerstone values in all daily actions Maintain consistent andaccuraterecords on all activities in alignment with Cornerstone's way of working as directed in our procedures and policiesin CRM, CMMS, and Vision Tracker.

Attend and activelyparticipatein all Sales and Marketing meetings Proactively work to grow market share and consumer awareness for Cornerstone Mechanical products and services through prospect outreach. Portray a positive culture and attitude towards our customers and vendors to ensure long-term trust and partnership. Attain KPIs as directed by Cornerstone leadership Collaborate with internal departments and teams to ensure proper alignment andtimelydelivery of our services.

One Team, One Cornerstone! UtilizeCRMplatform effectively to manage and track sales workflows, customer data, interactions, and follow-up action items, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Activelyparticipatein industry associations, conferences, and events to build relationships, enhance Cornerstone’s visibility in the marketplace, and stay informed of industry developments.

Perform smooth handoffs of new client relationships to inside sales, fieldoperations, or technical SMEs. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years in sales or business development in MEP or industrial/manufacturing maintenance industries. Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry, including equipment, and key market information.

Proventrack recordof results and accountability. Must have a strong background in selling including cold outreach, prospecting, market research, negotiation, and closing Proficiencywith CRM, Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), and CMMS quote development platform (ServiceTrade, Zuper, or similar). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Eligibility to work in the United States without needing a work visa or residency sponsorship. Current, validdriverslicense. Ability to stand, climb ladders, reach, and bendcommensuratewith job tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
