Sparta Global are looking for a Business Analyst to join on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and support on a banking programme based in Sheffield. This role will be supporting multiple digital/technology projects within a wider IT Transformation, so we will be prioritising candidates who have experience working on digital projects within banks or financial services institutions . Role Responsibilities: Capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements, making sure they align with key strategic principles wider strategy. Supporting the design and facilitation of workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery activities to populate and enrich business change user stories and acceptance criteria Reviewing existing process and system documentation to identify opportunities for operational improvements. Validating user stories using research, system analysis, data and customer insight to make informed decisions on priorities and focus Helping identify team priorities based on feedback from colleagues and stakeholders. Supporting team members in identifying user stories; building and prioritising the product backlogs, encouraging innovation and the identification of customer-centred journeys, to better serve customers. Experience Required: Strong working knowledge of Agile values, principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience of working within an Agile environment. Ability to translate high‑level concepts into clear, actionable requirements. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience on projects within banks or financial services institutions.
