Business Analyst

3-Month Contract | Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite | Vancouver or Toronto

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager to support the next phases of a data and compliance-focused initiative. This role will work closely with business, compliance, technology, and external partners to gather requirements, coordinate delivery, and support the expansion of a centralized data platform.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business, data, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with compliance stakeholders to ensure AML and regulatory requirements are incorporated into project deliverables.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements sessions.
• Coordinate activities across business, technology, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Support data onboarding, standardization, file exchange, validation, testing, and implementation.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
• Prepare project documentation, status updates, and process flows.

Requirements

• Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA/PM role.
• Must have experience supporting AML, compliance, regulatory, or financial services initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and requirements-gathering skills.
• Experience working on data, integration, or data onboarding projects.
• Experience with Jira, Excel, and Lucidchart or Visio.
• Exposure to Amazon Redshift is an asset; hands-on technical expertise is not required.

Vancouver-based candidates are preferred, although qualified candidates in Toronto will also be considered.
