Vaco is currently assisting a top client in their search for a Business Analyst with mergers and acquisition experience in their Austin TX office! This role supports the smooth integration of newly acquired companies into the organization. This person will identify challenges, improve processes, and help transition people, data, and systems onto company platforms.
They will work closely with integration, technology, and firm leadership to solve problems, track progress, and ensure changes are effectively implemented and sustained. This is a contract to hire position that is fully onsite and hiring immediately. This position pays up to $110k per year depending on experience.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and document current processes across acquired firms and company functions; turn findings into clear integration plans. Map current workflows to future-state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities to standardize.
Recommend and help implement improved workflows; work with teams to update procedures and documentation. Contribute to improving integration templates, standards, and playbooks. Act as a bridge to technology teams, helping define integration needs and ensure alignment with company systems.
Lead data migration planning, including mapping, validation, cutover steps, and testing to maintain accuracy and continuity. Oversee user acceptance testing by creating test scenarios, coordinating testers, and ensuring readiness for launch. Create or support training materials to help teams adopt company technology and shared platforms.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 4-5+ years of Business Analyst work Significant experience in M&A and/or Integrations of new companies.
