Junior Business Analyst Overview - Philadelphia, PA We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst I to support business and technology initiatives across cross-functional teams. This role partners closely with development teams and business stakeholders to understand ongoing initiatives, gather and document requirements, and help translate technical concepts into clear, actionable business communications. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to understand business initiatives, requirements, and operational processes Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and business needs Support process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and root causes Create and maintain clear, professional documentation including presentations, reports, process flows, summaries, and stakeholder communications Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for both technical and non-technical audiences Participate in project and departmental activities under the guidance of senior team members Support testing, validation, and implementation activities as needed Maintain organized project documentation and ensure accuracy of deliverables Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related analytical/business discipline (or equivalent experience) Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Foundational understanding of business analysis concepts, requirements gathering, and process documentation Technical Qualifications Exposure to business analysis, technology, or process improvement projects through internships, coursework, or early professional experience Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts Exposure to tools or concepts such as Figma, UX/UI principles, SQL, Visual Studio, Jira , or process mapping tools Technical aptitude or analytical background is a plus Additional Information: Hybrid schedule with onsite presence required three days per week in Philadelphia, PA Strong opportunity for mentorship, professional growth, and career development #LI-VA1
