CKA Windows & Doors, Yatala | Full-time role | $75,000 - 85,000 annual salary
CKA Windows & Doors is a growing commercial aluminium windows and doors business working across residential and commercial projects throughout South-East Queensland.
Role Overview
The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, document requirements, analyse processes, and support the delivery of technology solutions that improve business performance, system functionality, and user outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business users and stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
- Review current business processes, procedures, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and system requirements for technical teams.
- Work with stakeholders to support solution design and delivery.
- Use data and process modelling techniques to define current state and future state business processes.
- Support project planning activities, including scope definition, resource estimates, risk identification, implementation planning, and system integration.
- Assist with system testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare user documentation, training materials, procedures, and support guides for new or changed systems.
- Provide advice and act as a central reference point for business and system-related decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new technology solutions.
Required Skills and Experience
- Preferred demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, business process models, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Understanding software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and/or Waterfall approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with system testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation support.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a project environment.
- Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem including SharePoint, Power BI and Power Automate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience working in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry is advantageous.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
