Job Description Job Description Company Overview: Beneficial Reuse Management (BRM), based in Chicago, is a leading environmental services company focused on marketing industrial by-products and producing value-added products from high-volume, non-hazardous, reusable waste streams from utilities, municipalities and industrial companies. The Company offers innovative, sustainability-focused resource recovery solutions focused on agricultural, industrial, and infrastructure end markets. In May 2023, BRM acquired USA Gypsum, a Pennsylvania-based company specializing in the recycling of drywall waste.
Through its proprietary process, USA Gypsum converts drywall waste into a valuable resource for agriculture and industry, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills and helping to create a more sustainable future. Position Summary: The Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating business processes, managing cross-functional projects, and supporting the adoption of new technologies to drive operational excellence. This role blends business analysis, project management, and IT systems knowledge to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions leveraging tools such as NetSuite, Asana, and Klipfolio, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
This role requires the ability to work independently in a distributed environment while supporting employees across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify opportunities for process and technology improvements. 2.
Develop and implement solutions that modernize systems, automate workflows, and improve efficiency. 3. Manage projects from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and performance reporting. 4. Maintain accurate documentation for projects, processes, and operations. 5.
Partner with internal business stakeholders, customers and vendors to translate requirements into actionable technology solutions. 6. Stay current with emerging technologies and digital tools to recommend innovative approaches for system and process optimization. 7. Ensure project outcomes align with organizational goals and objectives.
Required Skills / Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, finance, or related field. 3–6 years of relevant work experience in project management, business analysis, and/or technology Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and resource allocation. Resourceful and creative problem-solver with the ability to design practical solutions. Strong analytical, mathematical, and logical reasoning skills.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Self-motivated and capable of exercising independent judgment.
Skilled at prioritizing and executing tasks across multiple projects. Collaborative, with experience working in cross-functional and team-oriented environments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), NetSuite (ERP), Asana (project management), and Klipfolio (business intelligence/dashboards) preferred.
Mobility and Working Requirements: In-office presence required. This position requires some intermittent travel to various manufacturing and processing facilities. Must be able to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and safety regulations.
We Offer: Competitive salary proportionate with experience. $85,000 - $95,000 base salary range. Company vehicle for business use. 10% bonus opportunity. Benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, and vision insurance offered. 401(k) with company match.
