Purview of a Team Lead
The INSC CF MM team at Amazon India is hiring for a Business Analyst position, seeking a candidate with a strong performance record and hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, the ability to break down complex problems into structured, executable plans, and comfort with high ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate must be proficient in Macro and SQL, experienced with BI tools, and capable of working with big data from multiple sources. Core responsibilities include setting up robust processes to drive consumer experience improvements, identifying and executing automation projects, building scalable solutions using SQL, Amazon S3 and Quick Sight, and rolling out best practices from other geographies to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to influence stakeholders across business, operations, and technical functions using data and facts, and earn trust across varied teams without formal authority.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate a high bar on Bias for Action, Deep Dive, Learn and Be Curious, Insist on the Highest Standards, and Ownership.

The candidate should have a basic understanding of the logistics space and should be able to communicate clearly in the written and oral form. She/he should be able to come up with process improvements drive them through completion.

1. Set up and maintain robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize consumer experience across the MM network.

Identify, plan, and execute automation projects within the team to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
3. Create and work on data using SQL, Amazon S3, and QuickSight to generate actionable insights for business and operations teams.
4. Support business growth in constrained environments through frugal and innovative solutions, ensuring scalability without proportional cost increase.

Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
6. Roll out best practices from other geographies and standardize tools and processes to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses.
7. Partner with business, operations, and technical stakeholders to translate complex operational challenges into structured, data-backed recommendations.

Utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to influence decisions across business, operations, and technical audiences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a CFA and experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
- Knowledge of and proficiency in Excel and SQL
- - Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets
- 2+ years of data analytics or automation experience
